spent some time on the snetterton curcuit yesterday!!
loads of friends cars broke down or crashed/spun in the wet!!
the old rover kept going!!
i even kept tags on a 500bhp skyline!!
i was in very good company!!!
its a fast track and lots of heavy braking!!
if you haven't got braided hoses and new pads, get some!!

sounds like a blast, you pads look like they are down to the metal, did you notice a grinding noise?
I have a 623is which is bog standard afaik apart from the hoses and pads what do you recommend doing to improve the handling. have you got any of those strut brace things?

i don't know if they do a strut brace for the honda engined 600's. they defo don't do them for the ti. the engine sits too high.
they would have to be made up and resemble the scooby ones.
also a new water resevoir would need to be made.
handling wise for me, i have lowered it by 30mm, yokahama tyres at the correct preassures.
good brakes!!
i fitted the black diamond discs and pagid pads 3 months ago and have only just bedded in. but now the pagids are gone.
if you seriously want to upgrade the brakes then read my tutorial on the bloody 600/accord set up here... http://forums.mg-rover.org/showthread
personally, i would choose a much lighter car if you plan to do more than one track day a year.

it was you!! lol.
once i got passed you i was surprised to keep you at a good distance!!
i did fluff the first corner a couple of times.
you were right behind me when i got the back end out big time!! lol.
i thought after two complete brake failures i should ease up and let them cool. it wasn't until i stopped in parc ferme i could hear the metal on metal grinding!!
was a very good session. the pads were new 3 months ago, but i had done a session at silverstone at TRAX in september too. and about 10,000 miles commuting in between.
