Charity Track Day - 27th Jan
Discussion
Had some instruction earlier this year from a guy called Ben Elliott (www.benelliottracing.com) who's organising a track day in aid of the NSPCC on 27th Jan at Castle Coombe. Incidentally I'd recommend him as an instructor to anyone, but the details of the day are as follows:
"The day is running in 15 min sessions Novice, Intermediate A, Intermediate B and Advanced. You will get 1x 15min session per hour and then from 3-4pm it will be open pit lane.
Its £125 for one car, one driver and one passenger. Extra drivers and extra passengers are charged at £10 and £5
We have parade laps in the morning for people who just want to do a couple of convoy laps for the fun factor £20 for 2 laps. We also have Nikki Welsby the 2006 formula woman champion doing passenger rides at £30 for 3 laps.
The 2 instructors are working for free-its £15 for a 15 min session. We will have a raffle at lunch time. Spectators are welcome. Refreshments are available.
Castle Combe have given us a generous discount on the track hire fee but this still needs to be paid. So once that has been taken out all other monies are going direct to the NSPCC. We are not taking any money for our organisation/administration/costs.
We did a charity track day this Jan and we raised £6000, once the track fee was taken out we gave £4000 to St Wilfred's Hospice."

Sorry to hear about that - I had limped off by this time.
All the Clios looked very well driven, it's a shame that this happened . At least you are fine - Clios can be replaced you know .
A Supra also encountered a tyre wall during its 3rd session.
Thanks to Ben Elliot Racing for a great, well run day. Would recommened another track day with them. Also all the participants there seemed like great guys too.
