Always wanted to do a trackday and was building up to one before I had to seel my Cooper S and get a company car (DAMN YOU MATURITY!!!)

Does anyone know of any form of weekend arrive and drive type track days holidays? Being a single bloke with time on my hands I think it would be a good idea to go on holiday somewhere, maybe even outside of the UK, and arrive and drive some sports cars with some form of tuition or something like that.

Basically, I am thinking Ascari race club but without the £230k purchase of a car first.

Suggestions would be great. Most of the 'driving experiences' I see advertised are for about 6 laps of heavily controlled driving which is not really what you want to spend £200 on.

Cheers guys

Try looking at www.bookatrack.com.

They offer Caterham hire on all their track days and one session of istruction is included and more can be bought on the day.

They normally do a European Trip in August, generally to Spa for 2 days.

Holiday to the Nurburgring. Be warned, what starts as a holiday turns into an addiction.

All sounds good, but I would need to borrow someones car

Volunteers are required. I am sure no damage will come to it. It's not like its a challenging track or that I am an absolute beginner.

Oh, wait a minute.......
