Hoping to be there in our yellow Elise, just got to sort out work comitments, a p155ed of Mrs Toy and a slightly not too interested mate (who happens to own 1/2 the car). So no probs, i'll see you there
Anyone know how much it costs to book 2 sessions/hour as 1 doesnt really give enough track time for two drivers especially with short days. Cant see why they dont run open pitlane this time of year?

Otto - I'm taking the E30 Touring / Alfa and 924 as per my profile

I checked with the woman at Donnington yesterday as I'm bringing 3 cars and as long as I haven't got 2 on the track at any one time they're cool about it. Sooo I've stuck myself in the 'advanced' group yikes and put my mate in the 'intermediate' one. That way we both get equal track time

Great day folks. Dont think i've ever seen so many cars being towed out of the gravel. It was carnage out there.
Only saw one badly damaged car tho, white EVO gonna take some staightening

Good day, still cold to my bones though, how sharp are the stewards???
Black flagged us for me filming a lap in the 430 coupe on my phone!silly
Thankfully let us straight back out after seeing my sheepish look of a naughty 3 year old when back in pit lane!

Shame about the evo, never nice to see someone hurt thier car.yikes

Thanks to the buttmonkeys for various passenger laps, and massive respect to Jonathan taking his 430 out in the greasy morning sessions. In fact being a man whose ferrari was tucked up back at home in its warm garage in a carcoon, massive respect for even driving it to the circuit! Was a pleasure to see a ferrari do what is was built to do!!!clap Need to save a few more pounds before I can put a ferrari to the sword! Till then Carcoon and cuddles are on the menu.

Mat, true legend bow for letting me out in the subaru, and prompting me to gun it straight away even though i hadnt driven all day, and had never driven the scooby before, while radicals and the like were swarming past like angry bees looking for pooh bear, nice no pressure laps!!!!

Just trying to find cheap gp works to use till rb320 comes into my track life!!

Fletch never seen you not smiling, top man!
Cant work out why you added the gear stick and removed the engine

Fantastic day, shame about the guy bending his evo, but he was ok thankfully.

I dropped by and met one of the Buttmonkeys while the others were on track!! Got a bit wrapped up with some other MR2 owners - I was the only one who DIDN'T need to get towed out of Redgate!!!!

I had a few scary moments on the greasy track in the morning, but once it was dry in the afternoon it was fantastic.

Was it the light blue Radical? Think you were a couple of garages up from us.

I was there, Only managed to get the last session in as didn't arrive till late. First time i've taken the chimaera on track and really enjoyed it, even if the handling is a bit lets say loose!(Standard 12 year old shocks!) I'm used to going round Donington on a bike and can't believe how different it is in the car and how late you brake in comparison (even in a chimaera!) My mate was nearly sick in the passenger seat(result!), he says if i'd done two more laps he would have been, can't believe how pale he was when we got out!

I was driving the light blue radical SR3 all day, can"t beleive how many cars were there, great turnout for this time of year but did feel that the amount of "offs" during the day was a bit ott. 12 red flags i think, 10-15 mins to recover each one, that equates to somewhere between 2-3 hours lost tracktime! Glad everyone was ok tho.

Tony.
