Insurance advice

Quick question...

One of our members has just bought a track car. He isn't going to use it on the road and wants insurance cover for on track, storage and while it is in transit on the trailer.

Egger Lawson/Competition Car Insurance have just told him they won't cover it.

Any ideas?

What sort of car out of interest? AndrewD and I have failed to get any sort of track cover for our Radicals, though road/storage insurance is fine.

It's a Sports 2000.

I'm amazed you can't get cover for your Radical. What's the story? I could cover them on our trackdays no problem.

Track cover as an extension to road cover I mean, like Sunninghill's TVR policy for example. Clearly you can buy (expensive!) day specific insurance from CCI and the like. Or is there something I'm missing - how much would you charge?
