I'm going, or I will be as soon as the forecast rain stops in the morning.

You should have come and said hello Despite the lack of rain it stayed wet on track all day. Very slippy in parts. The bloke in the Atom was just about the fastest guy on track. Friendly too. Shame he bent it - I had a pax lap lined up

Maybe the weather was Ok but the track was greasy as hell all day. If you were trying, you couldn't afford to lose concentration for one moment. Druids was fun though

Yup. Druids needed tiptoes all day. On the upside, for once I wasn't wishing I had more power!

I was there yesterday in black Impreza STi, the high rear wing version. A mate was there in his black one but with the lower rear wing, plus his mates in a Porsche Boxster and Caterham-alike.

Very slippy all day and lots of people going off. I do not think any of them were too serious though.

Some very good and curtious driving, very enjoyable when it is like that.

My vote for the fastest was the Mini Challenge car, and I managed to get some laps with him right before the chequed flag. A great experience.

That MINI was certainly quick especially given the conditions. I was happily having a long sideways moment in the middle of Druids and noticed my side mirror full of it I also noticed at that point that my right indicator had been knocked on possibly for some time - so apolgies to the MINI driver - anyway I let him past on the straight.

I noted when spectating that he was braking far, far later than I could into Old Hall but also that he was driving through the wet line down the start/finish straight - so I think he had probably had some soft wets on.

Shame I couldn't get the power down or decent braking done all day - one of the downfalls of a Caterham is a greasy track.

The Mini definitely has my vote for the consistently fastest wheels of the day.

I agree, the mini was probably the quickest car i saw, it did look to be on better tyres though. I had a couple of moments into old hall where i was thinking "hello tyre wall" eek it was unbeleivably slippery all day

I was the man in the Atom.

Very little grip and a lot of bhp took a lot of keeping up to last Friday, but great fun Anyway, it all got away from me over Deer Leap of all places and I bent the front upright. New parts on their way and it will take longer to fix than clean.

I enjoyed the day out despite the rain and should be out again v soon.

I meant longer to 'clean than fix' so no harm done.
