Might be a good idea to try one before buying. Mine doesn't stick on the windscreen of my 996 porker properly, but does work on other cars. Basic rule, the more curvature in your windscreen the less chance you'll have of it working.

I believe Demon Tweeks do them (see 2003 catalogue).

Alternatively, I had good success mounting mine to the passenger headrest using some bungees!

I have the b-hague suction-mount for my RS and it works a treat, with quite a heavy camera on some pretty heavy lateral loads

Recommended.

I use an ordinary tripod in the car, with the legs extended but still folded, strapped tight behind the pasenger seat with tie-down straps. If it's done at an angle and the camera mount adjusts to compensate you can get the camera almost central in the car. OK, it's not as neat as the 'real thing', but you get a tripod that useful for other things too.

With image stabilisation on the camera, it all works fairly well. If you want to see the results of this DIY method, have a look on www.indexsystems.co.uk/tvrcc/gallery/video/video.html
