It's not the best, but at least it's an opportunity to improve your on-track awareness!
Seriously, I saw plenty of spins and terrible lines on the Trakzone day I did, but as long as you stick clear of the hordes and are patient you'll be fine. It was a really wet day too which probably didn't help. By and large people weren't dangerous nutters just a bit inexperienced. From the pit wall I saw some instances of people overtaking down both sides of a car simultaneously which I thought was ridiculous and should have resulted in a black flag - that sort of thing seems to be more tolerated/ignored than I would expect and that's probably why they've got a reputation.
The range of cars included everything from a Citroen Xantia and some Fiat Cinquecentos right up to full race tin tops and a single seater who appeared to be using it as a cheap test day. They were split into sessions (roughly) according to ability though so this didn't really cause any problems.
There is definitely the capacity for silly things to happen, but it's ultimately up to you whether you get drawn in to the M25-style bumper to bumper action or just find yourself some space, keep your nose clean and enjoy the track.
I woudn't look at it as the highlight of my trackday calendar but I'll definitely be going again because it's good value for money at that price.

I did a Trackzone day at Donington about a year and a half ago. The driving was generally ok, although there were a few dodgy overtaking manoeuvres going into Craner (which the organisers had advised us not to do!), and some bloke stuffed his Cosworth at Mcleans.
In general it was a good, cheap trackday, and well worth doing.

I have been a passenger in a car that was overtaken on the wrong side by another car going down Craner with FOUR people in it
I think that you take pot luck at a Trakzone day, sometimes they are very quiet and have some very classy
cars and a good standard of driving, but at other times you can have a very busy day with the
'drive it like it's stolen' attitude.
They don't seem to have enough staff on a Sunday to 'police' the rules.

Agreed with all of that. FWIW my advice is pay the extra to go to a low-attendance open pit-lane event with someone like BaT...you'll have far more clear track and much less risk of numpties turning up and potentially ruining your day.
(That said, when I was last at Donny with BaT there were 3 red-flags, at least one for a german-plated 3-series that was being far too optimistic.)
I went on Sunday and they had more photographers then marshalls. There was a stoppage almost every session, but the driving wasn't that aggressive or disrespectful.
It was worth the £99 I paid, as the track was fairly quiet (I stayed in the begineers group) as most people had moved up a level at some point in the day so the group got smaller as the day went on.
I think I'd do it again, but it certainly wasn't as well run as something like a day with MSV, BaT or EasyTrack.
