Have secured a noisy day at Goodwood 24th Nov 105db static 101db Drive day. If you havent driven Goodwood before this is a "must do". Open Pitlane, Maximum of 5 cars on track at any one time. Cost a very competitive £210, Instruction at no extra cost will be available.

I have booked good weather for the day too

Post a reply or email me - terry.buckel@btopenworld.com

Hope to see some of you there.

Cheers

Terry

Be sure to get your cars checked before the event as I recently got sent home from Goodwood as EVERYONE gets tested before and there are 5 trips on circuit, trip one, black flag, trip two, go home.

this is the very reason why we have now gone for a 105dB day - as noise controls are rediculous.

The day will see 20 cars max and 5 on track at any one time. So still plenty of track time

Terry, I've driven Goodwood a couple of times before and would love to do so again. Still have room? What's the drill on paying, etc. FWIW, my experience with the noise test there has been quite interesting. I've always passed, but have never received the same result (+/- 5db). When I asked about this I was told you could pass one day and fail the next, or even pass in the morning and then fail in the afternoon. A lot of environmental stuff seems to affect this test.

sounds like a good day and my diary says I am free!

I may be a bit out of date here, but are you a track day organiser Terry?

Yes Graham.

Myself and Stormy have been organising trackdays on behalf of SIDC (Subaru Impreza Drivers Club)for a good few years. But numbers have fallen in recent times and we have had to open up to a wider audience.

okey dokey Terry, thanks for the info, sorry to ask!

Can you put me down please? How do I pay?

Thanks
Graham

PS I met someone at the under 17 car club who I thought organised track days for SIDC. That's not you is it?

Glad you guys enjoyed the day. The weather was as good as could be expected and great to see some awesome machinery on track.

I'll keep you posted on our next day - maybe a similar noisy day at Goodwood in Feb 2007
