Anyone know of any open pit lane track days at Spa in September?

I am going October 17th with Easytrack. And it is a public afternoon at the 'Ring on the 16th so going there first to make a proper trip out of it!

Just hope it stays dry in October though; 325 rear tyres and 475lb.ft don't make good bedfellows with wet tarmac...

Wish I had known earlier about the 25th Jonny, may join you at Dono on the 28th though.

Hi Phil,

I'm going on this trip. Have you been before with RMA? I guess you are taking your Ultima over?

Steve (Diceman)

Third time with them at Spa. Great time on each occasion.

This time I'm on track on the Wednesday as thats the GRRC day. I dont think I saw Nobles there on those trips. One day we were with some serious race cars (TGP, Lambo GT racecars) practising/testing for upcoming races. They were FAST!!!

Have you done Spa before? Where are you staying? We may be there on the Tuesday just spectating though. May see you there.

Phil

Phil,

Never done Spa before, can't wait! Just hoping for some dry weather. I'm staying at the Hotel Beau site for the sunday night, then with some friends. Might hang around for the wednesday too to spectate. I'll look out for you.

Is it honestly. My last trip to the 'ring was wet, and I have to say I didn't enjoy it at all. I have heard others say that Spa is good in the wet, but why should it be better in the wet than other places in the wet?

Cool. Are you doing the 'Ring on the Monday too?

And where are you planning to stay on Monday night?

just got back from 2 soaking wet days at Spa and have to say it's probably the best 2 days fun i've ever had on track. The consistent (lack of) grip makes sliding the car a doddle and very predictable. The long, sweeping constant radius corners mean you can throw the car around like nowhere else i've driven.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but i'd take rain at spa any day over a dry day at spa or anywhere else.

I'll second the fun factor of Spa in the wet........ my first ever experience of spa were two laps of drifting with johnny in his caterham. Superb and thanks again for showing me what car control is really like Even in the rain spa is a very fast track
