Anyone at 'The Ring' weekend of 18th - 21 August

I was there over the weekend.. what a blast!!
Saturday afternoon, did 2 laps before the track closed. Following the re-open my brother did a lap before I had to leave...
I was there in a Green Audi S2 Coupe, with another S2 Coupe and an S2 Avant (Belgian plates). Also had a UR Quattro along, but he didn't track it. I'll have some pics up if anyone is interested, saw lots of M3's, a fair few porsche's on UK plates as well as a very nice new red RS4 which passed me near the end of the lap!
Can post a few pics if anyone is interested!
Cheers
Ross

Any of a Yellow MKII GT3 with Black wheels ???
I was there also, had a great weekend.
Good mixture of weather which made for some good interesting laps.
Put in a lap time of 08:44 in my GTfour (on track tyres)... and yes I know you're not supposed to time yourself but I do. ;-)
Had a bit of a moment on Adenau bridge where I spent the length of it on full opposite lock going sideways... luckily I do a bit of rallying and I'm used to it. But the track does get very slippy when it rains... there is a lot of bedded in rubber on the track.
I saw a red 360 in the car park... was that yours Voorland ? It was parked next to my brother's white CRX for a while. (He filmed it leaving the car park).

We were there in my friend Ian's pesky old white mk1 16v Golf, first time I've used proper tyres (Toyo R888s) at the 'ring.... WOW!! Ian did 8:51 BTG solo one evening www.youtube.com/watch?v=COdjeiww0I0
Was great fun passing the UK newbies in their Evo's etc

Tell me about.
We spend ages trying to figure out what he had done to get it like that.
It was just after the Miss-Hit-Miss Curve going down towards Wehrseifen. I guess he came out of the first curve a bit too hot and ran wide out onto the grass which was still very slippy. Hit the outer reservation and either over corrected or just bounced off and ended up on the other side of the track facing the other way. He was lucky it didn't roll with how high it went up the bank.
We were just looking at that car the day before in the car park and remarking what a lovely GT3 that was. It had nice anthracite wheels.
Late Sunday, did anyone go past the 5 Series at the end of Wippermann? He had put lots of dirt on the track and it looked like he had been on the grass both sides of the track, but managed to come to a halt at the bottom of the hill before Eschbach. I bet that was a heart in the mouth moment if I ever I saw one.
I passed the 5 series two or three times on my last minute laps before closing time late Sunday ... horrendous amount of crap on the road. Again I couldn't quite figure out what he'd done ... looks like a full-on tank slapper for a good few hundred metres
Car didn't look damaged though and there were no injuires so I didn't stop as I had laps to burn and time was ticking on!
