Some pics from this weekend at the 'ring

Glorious weather, apart from a thunderstorm for a couple of hours on the Saturday afternoon, it was relatively incident free which is always good. There were a couple of track closures, but nothing major as far as I could make out.

Looks like a good trip.

Where is the place with the M3 and the CSL on ramps? Also the laptop into the CSL?

I am going over in my CSL in September and would be interested in getting the speed limiter off it.

It's a place in a small town called Kelberg about 15km south of the Ring, run by a guy called Tom Schirmer, who by the look of his very impressive workshop, specialises in the tuning of BMW's. He had a E60 M5 V10 engine sitting on the floor straight from the factory waiting to get transplanted into an E46 M3 Motorsport shell, again direct from the BMW Motorsport factory.

The mentalist CSL you see in the pics with the big wing has been built by Schirmer Motorsport for a customer.

Two of the guys we were over with (who are both PH'ers) met one of their customers at the ring who'd had his CSL tuned by him, and they were so impressed they went over there the next day to get their suspension settings 'fettled'.
