Am planning to do a couple of trackdays this year, for the first time. only trouble is, I've just been told by a TVR specialist that my chim is unlikely to pass the noise limits. My questions are:
a) is there anything I can do cheaply to reduce the noise that wont fcuk anything up?
b) are TVR CC trackdays a good place to take a noisy car?
c) Anyone know what Elvington is like noise-wise (i have booked this already before being warned about noise!)?

Many thanks

Jake

1) You can fit "Supertrapps" to the end of the tailpipe which have adjustable disks to silence your car. The downside is that they will make your car down on power

2) Can't comment

3) We've never done a noise test at Elvington in the 3 years or so we've used it

Jake,

Remind me nearer the time and I'll pop a noise tester in the BatVan and we can check what levels the car is making
