Bit of a long shot but has anyone heard about this breakdown company who are offering breakdown recovery when on a track day or driving home in your track car? Who are they?trackday recovery service

The RAC?

That's who I'd be using...coz I'm a member.

No doubt the AA do similar.

As its "the member not the car" that's covered, why would you need something special just coz the car broke down to/from/on track? Or am I missing something here?

If you break something or blow it up the AA should be fine if you have relay, crash it and they will charge you to get it home. Years ago it was free recovery including crashes but now they are Centrica owned they charge you...swines..!

Are you sure? When I've fallen off my motorbikes, the AA/RAC have had no issues with recovering them.

I checked my RAC personal cover and they now specifically exclude recovery from circuits following trackday failure. I think the idea is that you have to push the car onto the road outside the circuit.
