Ive got a S1 Elise and I would like to take it on a track day, probably at Oulton Park as its my local track.

I need to know if my car will pass the noise regs before I book it and turn up on the day. I would be less than impressed if they told me on the day I can't do it because the car is too loud.

So the question is, can I take the car there before hand and get them to test it? or do I have to wait for on the day? What happens if it fails on the day, do I loose my money?

Cheers Guys Nick

I have done two track days at Oulton Park one with BAT and one with Easytrack and had no problems with our Radical Clubsport. Unless you have straight through non standard exhaust system you should have no problem with 105db. If you do have a problem most tracks and track day organisers will do there best to help. They often have a selection of bolt on gismo's such as supertraps that you can hire. Cheers.
