I will be there with the Rex, looking to try and work on beating the 8:23 we did the other day! Loads left in the old girl, just need to get the big silver balls out of the cupboard this time!!!

See you there

8.23?

Impressive, you know the track quite well then? I hit 10 minutes last year on my first visit in the punto, hoping to get somewhere near the nine's this year with the 205, it's a car that can actually handle

We should sort out a PistonHeads meal on one on the evenings, to talk shit, drink beer and eat steak

Now we're talking, beer and steak is the staple diet for the week in Nurburg. Last year after 3 nights eating steak in the PistenKlause, I didnt shoite for a week after we got home and when I did, a whole cow had to be sugically removed from my hind quarters.

There are about 70 people going over with Circuit days so I think the whole weekend will be a bit of a Brit invasion.

The saying, "Drive fast, eat steak, drink beer, and talk shit" sums up a Nurburgring weekend pretty well.

Ive done well over a 1000 laps round there now, so know roughly where it is going from one corner to the next

We could book a table at the lindenhoff....not sure on the spelling, but its in nurburg! Great place, fine steaks and amazing tomato soup!! Oh and cheap beer!!!!!

Sounds like you know the track well. I want to get the maximum out of our weekend so I'd be interested in meeting up for beers and some chit chat also some passenger laps? I have only done ring once so my CV is 10 laps!!

You are more than welcome to passenger laps, its a good way to learn the track, and I can talk you through the necessary turn-in-points as we go round!

Beers are always good as well, shame no videoing is allowed anymore.

atomicrex,

I will hold you to that, lets keep in contact, we can meet up there for beers. It would really help me to have an expert sit in.

Hi Guys

I'll be there with 70 other cars doing the Nurburgring 700. Its a Canon Ball run type event with 2 days at the ring. It would be great to meet up.

Hey Jon,

I'm on that trip. I'll be in a black M3 with a Pistonheads sticker on the back screen. I've just signed up and dont know anyone doing it will keep a look out for the silver TT.

PS WOuld also be up for a PH steak and beer night down there.

Cheers,
Brendon

We're getting the 8am ferry crossing from Dover on Friday morning, should arrive in Dunkirk 11am French Time, hopefully getting to Nurburg about 2pm-3pm depending on traffic? All my other mates pussied out on the July trip, and are waiting for my second trip in September, so it's just me and my crazy pal Matty in the Pug.

I'm quite happy to wait for you guys and convoy - what time do you arrive in France?
