As the title states really. The girlfriend decided to give me a Ferrari experience or similar for my birthday and is willing to spend around £100 (+/-). I have seen a few on the internet but can anyone recommend any decent ones that I should consider or even some decent alternatives? Thanks in advance!

I don't want to put you off but I think you will struggle to find a Ferrari experience of any substance for £100. It might get you a couple of passenger laps or about 3 laps driving but that will probably be about it.

I was thinking something like www.activitysuperstore.com/step3.aspx?Parent=Drive&PathCode=WebCat&sel=JFRI . It dosen't have to be in a Ferrari I would probably consider anything driving.

likewise dont mean to be harsh but for that kind of money or even double or treble it, the 'experience' will be pretty cr@p. that budget would buy you an great endurance kart event somewhere like buckmore park rather than 5 minutes in a ferrari, imo way more fun than spending far more on an experience.

But a bit of a physical shock if you're planning on doing a karting event where you drive for more than 15 mins at a time!!!

Took my hands and arms 3 days to recover from a mate's birthday bash a month ago - at Lydd, a great circuit. I'm such a wimp.

LOL my first and last experience of 'proper' karting was a 3 hr endurance at buckmore. add in 1 high speed crash, i got hit broadside by a lunatic , and i couldnt walk or use my arms for days. awesome. haha

Buckmore are doing a World Cup special - for those not into football

June 20th £30 for 30 minute practice session in a Thundercart, normally £45.

I will be there with a few mates for the 8.30pm session.

Hi miniracing mom, you are right I had my track experiance at Donnington park FANTASTIC. Personally i think that this was far better than pro karting as a kart racer my self having compeeted in karts from cadets through to senior rotax. I thought that driving a 300+ bhp Car on a proper race circuit was just brill!!!!!.Totally diffrent driving style to karting (instuctor very understanding) Exellent value for money ,its given me the car racing bug, OH NO must start saving for a race car.

Lotus do something at their home track for £99, Scare yourself silly or somesuch. You only get 20 minutes behind a wheel, but you also get taken out by their test driver I think.
