I found this place a while back and have only just joined the forum, so I don't if you folks have seen this.

You can race in upto 8 1965 -1969 F1 cars round a track of your choice.

It's very realistic and everyone I know that has tried it has thought it was great.

Looking at the screen shots they seem to be using GPL, so anyone new to the game would be lucky to complete 20% of a lap at a decent speed before crashing. Brilliant driving game but not one you can just drop into and play.

Well spotted! You are correct about the base software and its reputation for being good ... but a bit tricky! However, issues in that area have been pretty much resolved at the Race Centre. The purity of the physics is retained and actually enhanced. But visitors have more fun than frustration as they are assisted by the following refinements ...
