SANTAPOD POWER CAR DAY AUGUST 10th

Hi all
I will be arranging a SANTAPOD TRACK DAY in July/August this year.
It will be a full day which is now confirmed as August 10 th.The day will cost between £40 (100 cars) and £80 (50 cars) for the complete day.
We will have the track to ourselves for the whole day.
Each car will get between 4 and 8+ runs during the day.
After each run you will get a "Timing" ticket with a Terminal speed,standing quarter time etc.
I would ideally like between 50 and 100 Power Cars....100 is the maximum...and its first come first served
Assuming enough numbers... 25/100 spaces gone so far ..mostly Porsches from PCGB and TIPEC...
Safety....helmets are only REQUIRED ...IF your car can pull 110 mph at the final line...
To give an idea....that means roughly 400 hp PLUS...and a 13 SECOND OR LESS QUARTER TIME
They will lend us 4 or 5 helmets and anyone who can pull that speed will probably already have a helmet...and what I call "Victor Sylvester" trousers ....plenty of ballroom

We are now up to nearly 30 cars....around 20 Porsches, couple of Skylines and Cossies and an Aeon...etc...

Hi All

Sorry to say we did not get the minimum number of cars required (50)
As I would have to pay for the track very soon , it is too big a financial risk for me to lay out several thousands on the chance more will book

So I am going to have to cancel the event for this year...

Next Year ...I will advertise it a lot earlier...and hopefully we can get enough numbers ...
