Everyone seen the Scumball rally website? [url]www.scumball.co.uk[/url]
It's happening in June and raises money for charity. Bit like those expensive Cannonball type rallies but not for rich folk!
Cars can't be worth more than £1000 and have to make it to the Nurburg Ring and back. My MX5 is worth too much money, so I'm going in an old Astra with nitrous and just enough MOT left for the event. :lol:
Some spaces left if anyone's interested.
I'm not connected with the site/organisation but am entered cause it sounds like a hoot and I'll be raising money for the local air ambulance.

nope im one of the folk whose acquaintance and friends have been killed or very seriously injured losing it on dropped fluids at the ring. MOT or not, a banger getting thrashed on track; its only a matter of time... the trip there should be a laugh though... just avoid belgium
over the easter weekend a F reg 325i had a bad coolant leak towards the end of the circuit, whereupon a biker had a nasty accident. I'm afraid I'm with Francis here. Good idea, but remember that a) bikes are extremely vulnerable to spills b) some bikes are really going for it....
PS I know it's supposed to be a bit of a laugh, but please tell everyone to turn their headlights on, use their mirrors and let other cars overtake on the LEFT. thanks
