It certainly looks nice, I think the lack of engine might hinder you though

agreed it's been a hard 9 months waiting for the engine rebuild, but the whole project will be completed in the next few weeks. Can't wait for this summer!

Congratulations Sean, car looks fantastic.I have just sold my 205gti to my neighbour and although I have been fortunate enough to acquire a BMW e36 with 4.0ltr V8 installed in it, will miss the old girl as she was imense fun (although not modified to anything like the spec you have here)and often performed to the degree that made me feel that I was a much better driver than is the case.I don't particularly like front wheel drive cars but true to all reports, the Pug felt more like a rear wheel drive when driven real hard.Good luck and enjoy!

That is really nice. Well done!

Can I ask a couple of impertinent questions?

- How much have you spent?

- Having spent all that time, effort and wonga, why not do some real racing/sprinting/hillclimbing?

In total roughly £9k. When you get back up of your seat that includes replacing absolutely every item on thje car, nothing is left on the car that has not been changed or uprated as it left the factory. It is essentially a race car which includes a fresh race engine.

It's open to me, but I have no immediate plans
