I'm not going to drink as much this year.
Oh, well... errr, maybe I will.

Will there be any special dispensation for sideways satan?

See you there

Awesome. Mungo has weighed in as my co-pilot so it should be a great weekend, something for us all to look forward to after the tragic events of this weekend...

Any more news on the novice day that was being discussed? If it's later in the year the M may be ready!

Any chance of another passenger ride James? I've just about stopped having nightmares about the last one.

So is it short & squiggly or straighy and power hungry? Seen some of the video on James' site which looks good, anyone got a full lap?

Now to find a car to bring!

Danny,

You'll find a full lap on Jimbocam's website.

Is it power hungry or twisty... hmm, well a bit of both really... James's Ultima and the GT2/3 s were the fastest around the track last time, but the Caterfields were pretty competitive.

The only frightening thing for me is the lack of runoff in several places. The forest and greenery get very close on occaisions so probably stop you going at 11/10ths. Great track though and certainly technical enough to keep you learning all the way through the day.

Not sure I totally agree with you Smiffy, I thought the GT2 was quickest but otherwise my little old Caterham was pretty much up there with the other stuff...?

Yep, that's why I said you were competetive!

You were exceptionally quick on the day, but yours is a more powerful Caterham than most Andrew! (very well driven too I might add).

Glad to hear about you and Gilly, looking forward to buying you a drink in the bar

I emailed the links to my other half as a birthday present idea. Wonder if he booked it?????

Here is hoping that I'll be there in the Noble chaps - if not - have fun (and I'll be getting a d.i.v.o.r.c.e.)

Awaiting further info myself.

As regards another event for those that don't make it in May, I have my thinking cap on. I'd like another regular thing in September, but I'd like it to be somewhere different.

Ted, there's another track in France I've not tried yet - the old Venturi test circuit out towards Britanny. Not wanting to sound biased towards France, but it might be worth a look - nice run out there too Less likely to be booked up on a weekend too.

I'm looking forward to May ... looking at the other machinery coming along I think I'll be a moving chicane. Maybe I'll get my shocks replaced beforehand ...

Have a great time, all of you, and lets hope it is even better than last time.

(I am still jealous as f**k, so I want to hear that it rained all the time, Mungo failed to pull, and that it was terrible with speed camera on the straight! )
