It's getting busy over the Easter holiday - gets rather addictive refreshing every minute. Lots of English cars there today...

Is there a different setup this season? The webcam is showing cars on the main straight, rather than coming off before the cones, leaving the track, and going through the barriers again....
Anyone care to explain? Ta
First, the new jahreskarte system includes a transponder on a wriststrap. There is on longer a need to insert an annual card into a machine. (The sending distance of the transponder unfortunately seems to be minimal.)
Option A - Carry on through DH at reduced speed; stop at mobile toll barrier along straight that is abreast of Grune Holle; touch transponder to machine; barrier lifts...
Option B - Exit as in previous years but stay to left on exit slip road; carry on through to old barriers, which will accept either transponder signal or daily paper ticket
Option C - Exit as in previous years but stay to right on exit slip road. From this side, once you get to the end of the slip road you are "required" to turn right and go up the hill, either to parking or to RAB and main road.

So there's a toll barrier now on the long final straight?
And this is only for season ticket holders with a wrist transponder?
So the procedure for single lap tickets remains the same as in previous years is that right?
Cheers.
i was there last weekend, we bought a 15 lap ticket and used the barrier on the main straight so i dont think it is there just for season ticket holders.
Cheers
