ok perfect, brands on the 18th, here we come :-)
just need to check if 102 db is acceptable
If you're doing the indy circuit. Motorsportvision's website says 105 db for Indy, 101 db for the Grand Prix circuit.
I've done two of them, and they were both very well run and huge fun. If you want to see a review (Brands Indy) and some pics/video of what to expect on the day, check this out:

Did a novice day with MSV last week. It went really smoothly.
They do more than most track day organisers, like taking the drivers round in a transits to start with, and point out what to do when, and they also set out marker cones all round the track for braking points, turn-in, and apex point. That REALLY helps.
Overtaking is not permitted round corners and only on the left hand side. Some may find this restrictive, but it certainly makes it a lot safer, and more predictable.
And the best bit?
They gave out free bacon butties!!!!

Standard Track Day protocol.
I've done a couple of days with them and will be on track again on the 18th April.
