Great stuff, I'm there in the Pug, I'll try not to hold you up too much

Fingers crossed that we get a dry one- the pics from the other thread on the 22nd looked a little scary

Looking forward to it! We had a glorious day down there on 10th May with the BMWCC. Not one cloud all day, pity my aircon condensor is shot though ..

I'll come and introduce myself, do the same if I don't see ya - car's in the profile.

I spoke to Motorsport Vision earlier, and there's going to be a couple of Radicals hooning around

Looks like we're in for some good weather too

Just gotta get my track insurance sorted and make a few minor changes to the car and I'm ready to rock and roll.

We 'may' have someone else coming too in a hired (shuuushhh) Carrera 'S' as he's stuffed his 4's last week.

Yup, couple of track Elises. Will keep out of folks way on the straights, hoping that the courtesy is returned in the corners.

Great day out but wasn't that red TVR b----y quick. And such thoughtful drivers, it was a pleasure to watch these pros play the track like a grand piano. My heroes!!!!!!!!

I got some great footage of that red TVR from the in-car camera, I moved over as we approached the mountain, it went past, and the exhausts let out a waaamm pop bang followed by two massive flames lasting about 3 seconds

I shat myself

I'm looking forward to seeing some of that footage. Yeah that TVR was belting out flames from its rear end like me after a good curry!

Road wheels are back on my car now and I need to get the suspension back to road settings tonight.... I think I better sort that aircon out before the drive to Germany

I was there yesterday in a black Impreza (S300B UK).

Very scary track at first, lots of blind blind brows/corners etc but settled into it after a while and really enjoyed it once the sun came out. Nice flowing circuit with some challenging bits.

Got lots of video from in-car and around the circuit so it anyone wants a copy of the DVD (once it is complete) them let me know. I usually ask for blank disk and self address envelope to stop payment issues.

If anyone has got any video of me (at all) then please let me know so that I can include it.

Who was in what by the way. Lots of very nice (and very fast) cars out there, esp the caterhams and that red 106 Rallye.

I saw your impreza, but never managed to hook up with you on track, shame!

I was in the white Pug 205 with black wheels - my first time around cadwell. I found the gooseneck complex quite difficult to master, the fast right hander at the top of the circuit that seems to go on foverer, before braking to get rid of the excess speed for the right-left kink before heading downhill - i got out of shape there a couple of times over the course of the day as the back went light under braking and i got a bit sideways.

The long uphill left after the main straight was fab, I started the day braking and changing down into third, but by the end of it, i was 'manning up' and taking it flat in 4th

I'll certainly be back - great track, and the on-circuit manners was teriffic (apart from a certain purple Chimera that refused to move over for a little 205 for about 5 laps ...)

I must admit with 30 odd cars on track it was perfect. The BMW Car Club event had over 50 cars on track in two 'sessioned' groups which was a bit frustrating at times. It is a fantastic circuit though, although I think its suited to smaller/lighter cars which always seem to go well around there.

I would've liked to be a passanger in the yellow Radical ... as I bet it was a fair bit quicker than my ...
