I have a dilemma as to what to do and your help would be much appreciated.
The weekend i took my wheels off to clean and noticed a small screw
in the rear offside tyre. I took the wheel to a tyre centre and they repaired it.
Now the problem i have is the car gets tracked.
Do i
1/ leave the tyre on the rear with a plug in it
OR
2/ Buy 2 new rear tyres at £160 ish pounds each.
I dont know how safe a plug is and my first track day is next week..
What would you do.....
Many thanks
Mark.

I've done a day at brands and a day at cadwell both with a repair in a tyre. On the back at brands than swapped onto the front at Cadwell. No problems at all. If i was doing somewhere big like Silverstone where you get silly speeds on the straights, then i'd consider replacing it, but i've maxed at 110 so far, and i'm happy with that.
