Polishing my helmet
Discussion
Hopefully I'm not the only one who's ever considered, ahem, polishing one's helmet - mine became a bit grubby driving someone elses car the other day.
I remember from school that solvents, stickers, paints etc etc would irrevocably damage a lid. So is there a safe way to remove marks off a (Bell) helmet - is soapy water OK?

cheers,

The best thing I found was to get some kitchen towel, soak it in warm water and spread it over the helmet, have a coffee and ten most marks will just come off with a clean towel, but a bit of washing liquid won't hurt if you have very stuborn marks on it.
Either that or you could brave the car wash with it on!!
