Toyo Proxes 888's on heavy RWD cars???

Chris
Does my Porsche 968 at 1400kg-ish count as heavy RWD? (engine in the front though!)
My observations are that these tyres can generate a lot of heat if you are trying hard, this is good. But keep a close eye on pressures and drop them accordingly as the tyre heats up (raise them if going home on them though!!). So you should be just fine.
Once you have the optimum pressure I would say that if you are running standard width rims with a heaver rear end than mine the heat just might become a limiting factor. If you are running wider rims as I do now -- in my case 10" rather than 9", heat issues might well be less of a factor.
