Three more track days coming up
Time for a pre-Xmas blast?
Track day club MotorSport Vision has added three last-minute dates to its calendar.
- When: Saturday 17 December
- Where: Oulton Park, Cheshire
- When: Sunday 18 December
- Where: Snetterton, Norfolk
- When: 14 January
- Where: Bedford Autodrome (open pitlane)
According to MSV, given that these new dates have literally only just been announced, on-track space should be more available than ever.
Professional instructors will be on hand at all track days, offering advice and in-car tuition.

Do you care that your homepage headline says "Xmas", rather than the full title, of Christmas?
I mean, there are many wasted letters and mistyped words in the world of the keyboard as it is, without we have to be too particular about not wasting a few necessary letters.
Christmas is Christmas, after all.
Would it be right for us to type 'Hkah' for Hannukah, or 'Rdan' for Ramadhan? Let's not worry about 'hkah' or r-dan', cos you do get my point?
So, how about it, Ted, can we have Christmas in future on Pheads?

I shant joust with the learned as, being a simple guy, I'd get knocked off my horse
every time.
My view is, why drop the name of Christ from Christmas, just to prove how clever we can be? I dont see "xmas" being used in the manner you describe. I see it as Christmas for those who do not recognise Christ. Which is ok, too.
I just wonder why it is being used so much.

It's simpler than that: headlines have to be short...

Which just confirms what I said in my opening post :
" I mean, there are many wasted letters and mistyped words in the world of the keyboard as it is, without we have to be too particular about not wasting a few necessary letters.
