Peter hi.
Not sure with respect to sharing the track with another group. First UK car trackday for about 3 years. Tend to only do Bike t/days now and about 5-6 ring trips annually in the car.
Historically, the attitude & driving standards at UK days have been too iffy to take anything even semi decent out on track IMHO - hence the £3k pug & sale of my RS porker! I can smell another caterham going along soon though...

Cars going well,
I'm doing Silverstone this thurs, that'll prob be my last for the year i reckon.
My Bedford days are numbered due to the noise etc, must admit, i got very bored with it this year anyway.
I may make a return when the 997 comes, as long as i can keep a standard exhaust system on it for long enough !!
Have fun mate.

My standard 450 produces about 97dB. The limit at Bedford's over 100, isn't it?
Yep, quotes 101 on the website, phew.
I don't wish to be all doom and gloom, but they have been known to reduce that limit in adverse weather conditions if they get complaints.
Nothing they can do about it, blame the Council.

Well, I failed the initial static test, 104db, but i was told as long as i didn't fail the drive bys i would be ok. Guess what, didn't have a problem all day, great venue, great organisation, couldn't fault it, a brilliant day
What impressed me most was the behaviour of my fellow trackdayers, everybody showed very good manners, i am definately going to do Bedford many more times.
