Hi
Will be at the above and wondered if there are any others PHers attending? It's only my second track day, the first one having been 20 years ago! I know, it's a big gap!
I'll be in a yellow series one Elise so please feel free to come over and chat, I think my nerves will need calming a little and it would be great to meet a few experienced hands.

Nothing to be nervous about, bedford has plenty of room to spread out, plenty of straights to get past people/let people past and no racecars being pushy.
If you're happy driving on road, you'll be fine round bedford. Only advice I'd give is if you're on a cooldown lap, don't drive too slowly. The only time weird stuff happens is if someone drives so slowly they try and encourage you to overtake through corners, which causes confusion.

After some initial hesitation I had a great day. I was a bit captain slow but like you said there was plenty of room and it wasn't that busy so I didn't spoil anybody's day (well, at least I think I didn't). had a few laps with an instructor and surprised myself, he got me going considerably quicker. What impressed me most was the car, the way it went round corners at speed was amazing! It was so flat and planted with far more grip than I ever imagined. If you're happy driving on road, you'll be fine round bedford. Will definitely be doing more track days!
