Mission Motorsport day – Silverstone GP 4th March
Discussion
The good folks over at Mission Motorsport have a track day on 4th March at Silverstone on the GP circuit. It's £429 per car and they'd be keen to nab your passenger seat from time to time to help offer veterans passenger rides on the day. Some blurb from the team at MM:
Returning for its 5th year and set against the backdrop of the iconic Silverstone circuit. Mission Motorsport, the Forces’ Motorsport Charity, is partnering with Silverstone Circuit and Gold Track to deliver the 2024 National Transition Event (NTE) in the Wing at Silverstone on Monday 4th March 2024.
Delivered by Mission Motorsport, in association with Mission Community, we’re aiming to convene over 1000 service leavers, veterans and family members with employers, Armed Forces charities, the MoD and Office for Veterans Affairs, and other organisations to aid successful, sustainable transition & networking opportunities. Unlike other career-focused events, the NTE is centred around successful transition and aims to leave attendees feeling empowered, armed with a better understanding of employment opportunities open to them and become better equipped for the civilian world.
In keeping with this theme, companies exhibiting are actively encouraged to bring their own veterans employed within the business. But, unlike any other event and in keeping with tradition, all attendees will have the chance to enjoy high-speed passenger rides around the world-famous Silverstone GP Circuit as part of the now legendary Mission Motorsport Troops’ Track Day.
I would love you to join us in helping veterans and service leavers on their transition pathway out of the military and, for some, at the start of their very own recovery journey, by offering passenger rides throughout the day at a significantly discounted price from a standard GP circuit track day!

To add to the above, lots of smiles, lots thank yous, one that giggled all the way round(unexpected), one that turned an interesting shade of green. I’m not that bad I think.
I think the veterans generally had a really enjoyable day.
I know some of the organisers are on here, just one comment surely something can be done to slick up the loading process. 5 to 10mins of queuing before nextvictim passenger appeared out of the door, felt a little slow, apparently when there was a big queue waiting in the garage/hall.
