BT Trailer stolen

Some toe rags stole my Brian James T-AM-T-210 trailer (VIN no SJBTAAGBP6W101489) from DJ Engineering Yard on Sunday 19th at 21:15 in Chapel en Le Frith


the registration of the Vauxhall Combo van that stole it is YB04 DYD (we have the theft on video)

Surely if you have the reg of the van the police can chap someone's door?

I wheel clamp and hitch lock mine but feel this isn't enough.

Many years ago I had a twin axle caravan stolen from our driveway. Had a wheel clamp and a locking post in front of it. Went on the back of a Defender within a 30 min period when my wife was picking up the children from the school just up the road!

In about 12 months time this reg could be posted by the police on crime stoppers (etc) along with a grainy image on a Facebook post. What difference does it make ?
