Hi All,
Need to sort the horn out for MOT on my Peugeot track car, unfortunately it just doesn’t seem to want to work through the centre push button on the OMP wheel anymore. Want to wire the horn up direct with a generic push button on the dashboard for it.

I’ve got no experience when it comes to wiring/electrics, so could some explain what needs to be done and bought to make this work?

Thanks in advance!
Liam

Any auto electrician will be able to do this for you.

It will take much longer for us to find out what exactly you have and then explain how to do it.

Have you checked the fuse?

A horn is the simplest 12v circuit - get a multimeter, put it on the terminals of the actual horn, get someone to press the horn - if the meter reads anything like 12v then the horn needs to be replaced. If you can't manage this basic task then pay someone!

disassemble the OMP horn push and make sure the contacts are clean and aligned. same with the contacts on the QR hub if you have one fitted.
