My lad bought me the Caterham drift experience at Silverstone a few years back. It wasn’t very expensive and tbh I went with low expectations. It was an absolutely brilliant afternoon. The chap running it was laid back and pretty funny too! Was about 8 of us and the last bit against the clock got fiercely competitive. I missed out on first place and the ‘driver of the day’ baseball hat by a few tenths, I was genuinely gutted!

Different people want different things, as the above two posts show.
Some want to say that they have been in various supercars, however little time they get behind the wheel.
Others prefer more wheel time.
The amount of time you get reduces as the price of the car rises, so if you wanted to do more than 3 laps in each supercar, you may come away disappointed.

I do track days regularly in a TVR, so starting ftom that base I am in the "more track time, not so bothered what car" camp.
My wife asked me (fortunately) for a birthday present, which if three options at Silverstone I wanted for the same price.
Much to her surprise I chose a whole morning in a Lotus Exige over a few laps each in an Aston, Ferrari, Porsche etc.
Experiencing how a fast light rear engined car like an Exige felt in comparison to my more powerful but not as nimble TVR floated my boat.

But if the quest is for a few laps in several iconic cars, then Car Chase Heroes are worth a look. And they allow the participant to add extras during the session

From experience most supercar drive experiences are fairly frustrating, instructors telling you to shift at 3,000 and generally very cautious driving.
Rally days however are as close to legal joyriding as it's possible to get. Handbrake turns and drifts are very much encouraged. And you get much longer behind the wheel.

Deffo, we did a day at Bill Gwynn, years back now, but it was superb. And a long way out of your normal driving comfort zone, unlike anything else you will ever do.

I did a rally experience with TI rally school near York and it was brilliant, much more fun than an experience at Donington (historic...) In an Ariel atom. As above it depends what you want out of it

Rallying. Every time.

Loads of seat time in an old Escort or Astra, thrashing its nuts, encouraged to give it your all, on the magic wand round the hairpin, wheelspinning everywhere...

Much, much more fun than being escorted round for ten minutes in a clapped out Ferrari 360 with an instructor killing the power when you dare prod the throttle.
