Looking for a bit of advice. I have an F56 Mini JCW that I am taking on track in May and am looking to buy a spare set of wheels and tyres to use on track. I'm struggling to find anywhere to buy them and the ones I see on ebay are coming from Germany and charge a lot for shipping. Does anyone know of a place where I can get a spare set of wheels with tyres?

Demon tweeks?

You'll always pay a premium buying new. I'd be looking at second hand on ebay. They'll look a bit rubbish in no time anyway.

All the ones on ebay are either for older models that I don't think will fit or charge crazy prices to ship. Was wondering if there was somewhere else I can buy a full set

The bolt pattern is 4x100 which is pretty common. Lots of wheels will fit.

I'd be potentially looking at a set of Renault Clio wheels and getting some 4mm spigot rings to make them fit.

A quick look says there are lots for the F56 on ebay.

If they charge too much to ship, find some close enough to collect, a few hours out & a few gallons of "motion lotion" can liberate huge savings.

I really would be looking 2nd hand on ebay rather than new as above, they will only end up getting bashed around, keep the good ones for best.

I have previously bought a set for winter wheels for a bm from Newcastle, a set for another from Cambridge, both were when I lived in Hull, and both were worth it as the price was right.

Ignore part of this, I read it as R56.

But there are many cars that use 5x112. Audi fitment isn't it?

Yeah they are, just need to make sure I get the right offset because my current wheels have a big convex and the callipers sit really close

Just buy some crappy oem wheels and have a decent set of tyres fitted. Paint them orange and green for that track car look though.

Team dynamics wheels are popular. They're great on track and a good price too. I don't know for sure what offset you have on your stock wheels, or what the best size would be for track use (e.g. on some cars you go could go an inch smaller with different profile tyres, which can work out cheaper when buying track tyres).
TD pro race are going to be somewhere around £800 in an 18" and available in the UK.

Apparently mini challenge f56 uses Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in a 17 x 8.5 x 112 ET35, so I'd look at these (they run big brake kits so you're likely fine here).

We had custom ET wheels from bola for our M140, good quality v price esp the flow formed which are lighter and stronger than cast but not as expensive as forged

Thanks for that, Funnily enough it’s an m140 there for. I want 8.5j and 255 tyres all round and Bola seem the only (reasonable priced) wheels I can find with the ET I need.

We went 245 and 255

You might rub with 255 on fronts, if you have M4 LCAs forget it as 245 rub

Lots of info on babybmw forum

245 F/R is the norm for a square set up

Yes Iv got m4 arms, might have to stick with the 245 all round then no big deal as you can still get decent tyres in that size. Currently struggling to get proper track tyres for the standard front and rear sizes.

Have you got 245 on the front now? As people report on rubbing with M4 LCRs with arc rolling needed to corrrct

Marco Polo on babybmw is a great resource of advice to guide on what fits
