Can anyone recommend a trailer friendly hotel in the Zandvoort area? Doesn't have to be fancy, just enough space for trailer/towcar.and a single room. I'm booked on the opentrack double header in April and it's my first euro trip so any advice is great fully received.

It may or may not be your thing, but why not take a tent and camp it? Loads of space on a pitch, dedicated shower facilities and so on, peaceful and safe as you sleep next to your vehicle.

I’ve done this at donington before and it works out well, plan to do it a lot more moving forward

That's the absolute last option for me. I did camping holidays as a kid and hated them.! It now seems there may be an option to leave everything over night at the track so that'll open up a lot more options hopefully.

Most of the hotels that I seen where along the beach front and various campers, lorries etc park up and Kip there, parking will be easy I reckon.

I left the trailer at the circuit overnight when I went. They were quite relaxed about that. Also, it's a closed area at night so probably safer than the hotel car park.

Same, there is lots of huge open areas inside the closed/secured circuit space, felt like a relatively safe spot.

Is your track car insured on a road policy?
My policy for my road/track car specifies that I MUST take it off the trailer in these circumstances, in order to reduce the ability of thieves to make off with the whole lot.
I can see the logic - it is much easier just to hitch up your trailer quickly and scarper, whereas your locked and immobilised car presents more of an issue.
I always worry when parked at motorway services for a meal break, and try to stay in sight of the vehicle and trailer.

I have a lockable hitch and a stronghold hitchlock on top (one that covers the hitch bolts) - reckon a thief would have a hard job detaching the lot without drawing a lot of attention in a service station.

I stayed at the Hotel De Zoete Inval Haarlemmerliede last July. It was about 75 euros for the night, about 20 minutes from the circuit, and had a big car park which was fine for trailers. It was a pretty nice place and I’ll probably go there again when I’m next at Zandvoort (October tbc). Google it?

Thanks for all the replies, I've been sorting insurances etc out waiting to see if I can park overnight at the track but I've heard nothing back.

That's perfect mate, just booked 2 nights there.
Thanks for the recommendation, puts that concern to rest. bow
