So on the lookout for some sort of wheel crib or ramp that I can put the front or rear axle on at the track to mainly adjust the anti roll bars where required. Race Ramps wheel cribs seem the best solution but do not fancy the 170 quid price tag, and the risk of leaving them in plain view when I'm at events on my own (I know things don't go missing often but I'm the type to lock my door 17 times before I go to bed). Car is a mk5 golf gti but quite low. A lot of the low rubber ramps you see just don't look high enough to make changes underneath. Is it just a case of jacking it up onto cheap welded steel ramps or is there another option that's under the 100 quid mark?

Have you the Whiteline 3 position rear antiroll bar?

If so, I set mine on the middle position, did one TD and then set it on firm. There it stays…..that coupled with an R32 front ARB.

Just a thought, if it is for the odd adjustment, have a word with a guy with a trailer. Reverse up the ramps half way and adjust. It’s only a few minute job.

Why wouldn’t you just buy some basic wheel ramps (£45 Halfords) if you really want to adjust ARBs at a track day?

Easy to fit in a hot hatch.

Or, do you even need ramps? I've often just put one side on a kerb, or driven the rears onto a couple of blocks of wood - but I can also get at mine with the car flat on the floor at a pinch. YMMV obviously.
