Hi all,

Are there any recommendations for insurers that offer road cover, with some track days included? My main concern is more around a breakdown rather than accident damage, but it's good piece of mind.

My other issue is that I'll use the car occasionally for business (not commuting) - it's just a drive to a client site and back occasionally.

Or is it easier to just get individual track day cover?

Greenlight
A-Plan

Both do normal annual insurance polices which include a number of track days.

There are others, but I've used both and found them good.

Classicline
Gives you six track days and club days are free. So you get as many Lotus on Track (for example) as you want in addition

Thanks Both, I'll give them a a go... My issue is probably the business use, ie driving to a client that's not a commute.

Let's see what they say!

You can also use the AA to recover from track break-downs.

I spotted that... So in two minds to just sign up for AA cover, and not insure for damage etc.

It's a pain as I have RAC cover through the bank, but no one else seems to cover non-competitive track days.

FWIW, ClassicLine were about £200 cheaper with track day cover, so seems a decent option... But still doesn't cover breakdown wink
