So what's the situation post brexit. Obviously it's been well documented what the score was before but as we are not in the EU anymore are we driving the ring with no legal coverage?
I know there was always the risk before of a insurance Co chasing you in the event but I assume the rules have changed.
Anyone in the know?

What does YOUR policy say about it? There will be more variants than insurance companies. And there are a few of those...

I've got exactly the same cover as I had before Brexit - i.e. legally-required 3rd party only where the insurer might come after me to recover their costs.

As for 1st party, that's still covered by my TF track day policy, and the barriers/closure/repair costs are covered by Mr Visa.

just make sure that your docs include the equivalent of the old Green Card. Then you're in no better/worse position than you were pre Brexit

The reason I bring this up is because there was the European directive as a country we had to abide by being in the eu.
Since we are out now although our policies have said for a while we are not covered are they still bound by eu law?
