Not quite! Chose my username back when I had a RS6...will be in a 570s on Sat great fun around Bedford!
Bet that’s fun! I’ll be there in my TT (black with white rings) so I’ll pop over and say hi. Haven’t seen a nice 570 in the FRSB since I worked on the dealer launch of it and the 675LT at the grove. Stunning vehicles!1781cc said:

It's in for a service tomorrow so hopefully no issues and I'll get it back Friday! 675LT prob the dream car for me but about double the price of my 570s...yeah come say hi for sure weather not looking too bad either.phazed said:
Hopefully if all goes to plan, I'll be there on Saturday in my McLaren,...................err no,........ Skoda,........ (Just a bit of day dreaming ).
Good you got a slot! We can talk brakes and tyres and stuff, I’ll take you for a spin in mine and it should seal the deal on stripping yours out ha haQBee said:
Man up Peter, you know you want to. A double dose of Max Strength Kwells should see you right.
(No way could I do more than 10 miles in the passenger seat on a track day, so who am I to talk?)

It will be interesting to see how much slower my road Skoda is to your stripped out TT.
On another note, does anyone know if cars can be trailered to the pits area......?
I certainly did in the black Skoda vRS.
Didn’t have time to look you up, where did the day go.
Really nice to meet up with Lee in the beautifully prepared Audi TT and his brother. I wimped out of a ride in that. I regret that now!
I had to call it a day at about 3 pm as I lost turbo boost. Put it up on the ramp as soon as I got home and it was a lower pipe that had parted company. Considering the time I put into making sure all these joints were clean and well clamped up it surprised me that this happened. All down to the additional boost I guess. I will have to try better next time!
First time out using the newly fitted Indian Accelera tyres. I will just say that they aren’t rubbish but nearly so! Even after about eight heat cycles, the understeer was certainly amazing! I can only apologise if I looked like I was taking up too much of the track, it was out of my control. On the plus side, they were very predictable and once I had acknowledged the fact that they weren’t going to grip the track, it was good to play around with them. I was just getting to learn how to flip the car left and right before a bend to set the car up slightly sideways due to the lack of overall grip on the tyres! These will be changed very, very soon!
Enough of this waffle, a great day and I look forward to the next one.
Oh, just to say I enjoy plenty of cars on track, it makes it more interesting.

Good meeting you guys yesterday, what a mental first half of a day that was, 80 cars, tons of novices and too many MR2s for my liking (fast ish in a straight line but terrible in corners), the driving standards of those cars showed no progression from Max Power cruises in the 90s, hilarious.
Good you found that leak Peter, it’s always the simple things that scupper us, a few years back a leaky central gasket on the rocker was dripping oil onto a coil pack, had intermittent issues, couldn’t find it on the day, next day at home I found it straight away, £5 fix…
