Tyre storage - NS2R?
Discussion
Currently in the middle of a track car build, mot is due soon and still want it to be road legal and use it while I'm building it for rare trips when it's needed.
Rear tyres are definitely going to fail the upcoming MOT, I only have 1 set of wheels and would like a set of NS2R as a decent dry and wet weather tyre option. Putting on these tyres now means they will be subject to the cold weather throughout winter while being sat on the driveway.
Obviously with a tyre like the ar-1 or full slicks you would need to store inside away from the cold weather. Do you still need to do this for a NS2R? It's advertised as a 50/50 Road and track tyre and a 180/200 treadwear tyre so more road orientated than most semi slicks so I'm thinking maybe OK to leave over winter? I'm based in Cardiff FYI.
What's the opinions or people's own personal findings?
