50th experience for a petrolhead

My best mate turns 50 in November this year and i am looking for an event/activity to do to celebrate that involves cars and driving ... he has had a pretty tough year so wanted to make it special... clearly November isn't ideal for Trackdays in the UK.

The go to would be a Palmersport day (we did one a few years back for my 40th) assuming they run in November ... however i was looking for inspiration beyond this .. ?

He currently runs an RS6 so anything on track would need to be in a hired/loaned car.

Have you tried a rally day? There are a lot more powerslides, handbrake turns and general drive it like you stole it fun. Plus you normally get a lot more time in the car than a track based experienced day.

Another thought is a Ginetta hire day - sharing the day makes it not so bad cost-wise.
