VAG, Golf MK4, Octy vRS MK1, 5 or 6 speed for TD's?

Have just got my modded Octy vRS up and running for TD's.
All going well but now the standard clutch is proving weak, (which I expected). Going to replace with a single mass fly and upgraded clutch.
Question, while I do that, is it really worth it converting to the 6 speed Cupra R box? If the 6th gear is just a longer legged gear for economy/cruising then it's not worth the trouble.
If it is a, "much" better option then I will get a kit of parts together and bite the bullet......
Just to add, I was going to fit the existing 5 speed with a Wavetrac LSD soon. Again, is the whole 6 speed thing worth it.
Car is used very rarely for the road so not bothered about economy!!!
