Having done Blyton and Castle Combe I am now pondering Anglesey ..What is it like for run off ? I like Blyton as there isn't much to hit if you do over cook it.

Yep, Anglesey is good for run off. One of my favourite tracks, you’ll enjoy it. Here’s a lap.

The worst is probably the slightly off camber left hander onto the pit straight with nothing but brick wall if you do get into a spin. The rest has decent run off. It’s certainly a must do track at some point though.

As my welsh* speaking parents remind me, it's Ynys Mon not Anglesey.

  • Both born in Lancashire and lived in England until they retired.

...and the circuit is Trac Môn!

Some of my 'best' action as a marshal have been there - in both near misses (for us marshals at a marshal post) and in multiple rolls (for the Legends).

Pity I had to go back to work full time a few years back, otherwise I'd like to do a lot more weekends on the bank.

Try to get the Coastal layout for the best experience. The corkscrew is hilarious fun, especially in the wet.

Anglesey* is fine as well. Wales is bilingual after all...

Anyway, back on topic - Trac Mon/Ty Croes/Anglesey Circuit is fabulous! Just remember not to stare at the views across to the mountains too much...

*Anglesey is derived from the Norse/Viking and has been in use for 1000 years.

I've done experiments with the postal service. Guess which letter arrives first?

Makes no difference for us. Our postie drives an M4 Competition (when not delivering) and treats our drive like Clocaenog when in his van. I dutifully fill in the potholes so he can keep his stage times up. Its a symbiotic thing...
