Finally something to look forward to, it’ll be 15 months by then since I was last on track, largely due to covid, lockdowns, timing clashes with work and availability as last year everything got snapped up quick. Really looking forward to pounding round silverstone again, a local track for me and legendary at that.

Anyone else gonna be there?

Booked! I don't suppose either of you managed to get a garage, missed out on that, could do with somewhere just to chuck a bag of tools, would be happy to offer some money towards smile

I'd like to but as somebody who drives to the circuit with wheels, tools, fuel etc. I need somewhere
to dump my stuff only, and all the garages have gone ;-(.

Black Audi TT with white rings up the side and a huge wing 😆

Alfa 4C? Don’t see many of those on track, have we met before at Bedford? You had an oil leak that we tried to find at the rear bulkhead?

No garage for me either, I also have tools and a set of slicks to swap on, garages were all gone, sucks

From experience there pro Motorsport teams use it as a test day, they snap up the garages and us plebs don’t get a look in, and get shuttles out of the way by 1000bhp litchfield GTRs testing for the Nurburgring, or something like that 🙄

I think the thought of race teams are the reason I gave this a miss, which is a shame as it’s my home/local track

I'll keep an eye out for you.

Have been to Bedford and did have an oil issue but that was with my boxster (air oil separator) so we might have met.

Ah that might be an issue if its going to be filled with race cars. Cant see it being that enjoyable if your spending the whole time trying to avoid cars the whole day

I still had a good time I was last up there, aside from the dick in the litchfield GTR. There were some good enthusiast cars up there, but some serious machines too, there’s always something faster on track but it’s about being respectful from their side, it is a track day after all.

I don’t think we’ve met them, it was a blue 4C, smoke out the back after a stage 2 map and some upgrades. Gorgeous cars, wish I could fit in one...

Happy to gang up with likeminded PHers from here on the day to help safeguard tools etc

You're not wrong about that!

Even with a cage I can get a full set of slicks in the back plus tools, spare meth, etc

Your profile doesn't allow email. Send me a PM so that we can organise our 'PH Paddock' biggrin.

I will be bringing my M3 E92 , first trackday at Silverstone so really looking forward to it.

Need somewhere to store my spare oils, pump etc . Sadly no garage was available when I booked, hopefully
someone will let me store it n their garage if I ask nicely.!

Amazed that you can get 4 wheels and tyres in a Audi TT !

More the merrier from the Pistonheads camp, garages get snapped up by race teams, we should all keep an eye out for each other, I’m shooting for an 8am arrival time
