Spa Francorchamps
Discussion
I’ll be there in 31/1st April if this sh3t is over by then, I’m not holding my breath!!! With regards to the Carnet fees, I’m trailering my car over, I emailed someone at the Birmingham chamber of commerce who’s dealing with the Carnet and they said if your cars MOT’d and road legal you don’t need Carnet!!!
Although they said that’s their point of view and their rules but the french customs might take a different view, but that is the actual rules!!

If it’s the Circuit-days or Javelin events. I am scheduled to be there instructing, but for myself it’s a hop over the German/Belgium border for me.
I must say I don’t envy you guys with all the confusion with corners etc.
Fingers crossed all everyone’s plans can happen as planned.

I'm there in June with a couple of friends then swapping to road wheels, dumping the 4x4 and trailer somewhere and off on a 10 day trip down to the mountains then back up to Zandvoort and Zolder for a double header.
Never done a track day there, only raced (24 hours) in lesser machinery so cant wait to stretch the track car's legs, especially after the last 12 sodding months.
Hopefully we'll be allowed to travel by then.

Are the BCC able to provide a copy of what the rules are and what to do IF the french are getting it wrong. Expensive game of risk to play if the french are not abiding or know the rules?Although they said that’s their point of view and their rules but the french customs might take a different view, but that is the actual rules!!
