Think lap timers will get you thrown out, will invalidate the insurance for the event organiser Did it yesterday, was a really good setup.
Went to the Experience Centre at 2pm. Stayed til 4.30, including a 15 minute stint on the awesome F1 driving simulator (set the second fastest lap on the board ).
5pm drove into Lap Land for a 5.30 start. All very smooth and civilised. Let my 6 year old son steer the car round the lap (I pedalled obviously) and he had a great time. Drove straight off the circuit and into a well organised drive-in cinema to watch The Snowman..
Lots of popcorn later we drove home. Fantastic!
