Hi all.

Someone buying my M3 was asking about good insurers for a road legal, caged, track car.

I’ve recommend Mannings and Classicline. Mannings came back and said they’d struggle to insure it?!?

Any others you’d recommend?

Thanks. Is that on an annual policy or Track day by track day?

Do they mean insurance for on track or road use to get to the track?

I used Reis this year for my fully caged Clio and they were a lot cheaper than another specialist even with 2000 more mileage allowance.

Me too. Works out at around £100 per day for £30k worth of M2 although I had to buy x4 days this year to get that price. Very good value but I have never claimed either.

I use Footman James; road cover and 5 track days included for around £700 per year. You can add an extra 2 days for £100.
