Bit of footage of my first trackday back after lockdown, i needed that.
Changeable conditions at Bedders, not just the weather but the whole format really. Briefing and signing on done on line, every other gagage closed and no restaurant . Refreshments were provided by an outside catering wagon and they done a sterling job.
The MSVT staff were, as ever, polite, friendly, relaxed and banterful, is that a word?, and everyone in the paddock seemed to just get on with the day as normal. Social distancing was practiced as nuch as could be, think, Tesco, B&Q.....sort of distancing and there were no issues with it from MSV's point of view as far as i could tell.
Driving standards were spot on considering we havent all been oit for a while. Weather played the game nicely with a mix of dry, damp and wet conditions.....PS, Marshals, it was a powerslide not a drift....heehee, .....only a couple of reds as a few cars found the limit of adhesion and a couple of unfortunates cars decided they wanted new engines....not good news.
All in all great to be back in the seat and looking forward to normality soon.
